Kate Lloyd - Associate

Kate is an Executive Coach, working with Career Innovations since 2005. She manages and delivers corporate consultancy assignments in leadership, executive development and career management. Her areas of expertise include emotional intelligence, management skills, self-management and positive psychology.

Kate’s career has spanned corporate and consultancy roles in UK, France, Holland and Australia. She held marketing management positions in blue-chip organisations such as Cable & Wireless (UK), Black & Decker (UK) and Price Waterhouse Coopers, Holland. In Holland, she set up and managed a national contact centre servicing over 2 million customers for a cable TV company, a large-scale change management project which optimised customer centre operations through outsourcing, process re-design and the design of a new centralised department.

Kate’s educational background includes post-graduate qualifications in coaching psychology, education and marketing. In 2004, she was awarded a Master (with merit) in Human Resource Management and Coaching Psychology, from the University of Sydney. She is accredited in both the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA) from the Management Research Group, a 360-degree multi-rater instrument which allows a leadership coaching assignment to commence with a systematic gap analysis of current and preferred leadership capabilities and in the Hogan Personality suite of questionnaires.

She is a registered N.S.W. psychologist, which enables her to work confidently with a wide range of individuals and backgrounds, and harness information from advanced instruments designed for psychologists. Kate ensures that her expertise and skills remained up-to-date through memberships of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Institute of Management. In 2005, she was an Executive Committee member of the Sydney University Coaching and Mentoring Association.
