Coaching has proven to be an effective tool in talent development and performance. Studies show that the majority of Fortune 100 companies routinely use executive coaches to work with their senior staff.
With the heavy demands routinely placed on executives, coaching can ensure that the individual meets their obligations and targets. Evidence of scenarios that coaching can be beneficial include:
- Newly promoted executives that are assimilating to the role. Studies suggest that it takes up to nine months for new appointees to become ‘profitable’. Given the cost of attracting and hiring some executives, this delay can be expensive.
- Due to a lack of choice, organisations often promote individuals to a first line management position with no previous people management experience. Coaching can help the manager develop the soft skills to effectively manage their new team.
- Managing change is one of the most important skills for modern day managers. Are they equipped properly? The evidence is that they are not. Modern leaders have to be able to change themselves quickly before leading change effectively.
We offer three one-on-one coaching programs as follows:
STEP UP TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A three-month program typically used for first time managers, targeted at improvements in skill and performance. Due to the short nature of the program, this is not recommended for experienced managers or executives.
Each session is 90 minutes with "homework" for the coachee between sessions. The coachee is supported by telephone and email between sessions.
EXECUTIVE PROGRAM
A six-month program designed for middle to senior managers, used for performance and developmental coaching assignments.
Each session is between 90 and 120 minutes with "homework" for the coachee between sessions. The coachee is supported by telephone and email between sessions.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
A twelve- month program designed for senior managers and senior executives, used for developmental and transformational coaching assignments.
Each session is between 90 and 120 minutes with "homework" for the coachee between sessions. The coachee is supported by telephone and email between sessions.
